Can the Hama also be connected directly to a power amplifier? ...it obviously has a volume control... Thanks in advance

It definitely works when connected via the analogue cinch sockets. Then the equalizer sound control also works. If the digital Toslink or Cinch outputs are used, neither the volume nor the equaliser will work - because the signal is transmitted directly and unaltered.

I connected it normally to a normal amplifier with a clinch cable. Then I have double the volume control...
