Can the feet also be mounted narrower on this Sony than shown in the pictures? Description says nothing. The 65 inch works

No, the appliance is not particularly stable either. The feet are made of thin plastic.

No. The distance between the "receptacle" where the feet are inserted is approx. 695 mm.
Unfortunately there is nothing in between...
