Question about Garmin USB-DC Kabel

Can the docking station of the Garmin Camper 1090 be powered with this cable? Or is it plugged directly into the navigation device? I ask because there are two different plugs (station/GPS device).

Instead of the cable to the cigarette lighter socket, I connected this cable to the ignition plus and then laid it invisibly up to the dashboard. The Garmin Drive 61 is connected directly.
