Can the display be retracted manually even when the unit is running or is the display always extended during operation?
The display can be retracted while the unit is in operation.
There is a button to extend and retract the display. The unit also stores the last setting. This means that if the car is parked with the display retracted, the display remains retracted when the car is switched on.
