Unfortunately, no, because this has constructional reasons in the battery box on the one hand and electrotechnical reasons on the other.

- Many battery boxes have small webs between the individual batteries, which makes it impossible to insert the Petzl battery in a block design.

- Electrotechnically, most devices use 3 pcs. AAA batteries à 1.5V are connected in "SERIES" which results in 4.5V

operating voltage.
(alternating insertion of the batteries in the battery box)
or the same with 3 pcs. AAA batteries with 1.2V each, which results in 3.6V operating voltage. The units adjust the voltage difference electronically if necessary.

Basically, the Petzl battery could also be inserted into devices (headlamps) that do not have bars in the battery boxes. THESE DEVICES WILL NOT WORK (for electrotechnical reasons)... which is good and right, because...

THE PRODUCT FROM PETZL IS A LI-ION BATTERY !!! and should only be used for the intended use in the products specified by the manufacturer.
We are talking about headlamps here, so the Li-ION BATTERY is attached directly to the person's head.

Private comment:
I never use the Li-Ion battery in the headlamp unprotected in the rain and always carry 3 pcs. of AAA lithium batteries on tours as a backup. AAA lithium batteries as a backup (+very light, +cold-resistant, +high energy density, +hardly self-discharging, +storable for a long time, - somewhat expensive).
For safety reasons, I do not use Li-Ion batteries in my children's headlamps; NiMH batteries perform very well here.
