Yes, as far as I can see, the armrests and the brackets can be unscrewed. However, this requires tools that are not supplied (quite large Allen key).
Yes, the armrests are screwed to the chair from below. They are also height-adjustable, so you can sit closer to the table, for example.
Ah yes, the Allen key is supplied. They are 30 mm M6 screws, which can be removed with the 6 mm Allen key. I apologise for the misinformation.
