Can the alarm also be deactivated remotely (away from home) via the app? With Google Nest, for example, I have to go into the neighbourhood and connect via BT to deactivate it in the app.

With the Netatmo Home + Security app, the alarm can also be deactivated remotely. I tested it myself and it works.

I can only speak for the Apple HomeKit integration. Last autumn, one of them went off when smoke from the barbecue got into the flat, so it was necessary to acknowledge the alarm on the detector.
That actually makes sense.
