No, unfortunately, this is no longer possible. WhatsApp has discontinued service operations for BlackBerry.

The above answer is not quite correct - for the time being it runs until 31.12.2017 and it is assumed that the support will be extended. However, this is not confirmed.

But with the (fantastic) Passport you can use the Android version of WhatApp. For some time people had problems sending photos & videos. In the meantime this is supposed to be solved. See
