Helpful answer

With my Huawei Mate 10 pro, I can connect third-party headsets (in this case, rather old Nokia headphones with a mic) to the adapter and mic input works without any problems.

Hi Benjamin - use the adapter with a Huawei P20pro and the BOSE Quietcomfort 25 > works.
