Can I use this hard drive for my MacPro 5.1, mid-2010, HighSierra system, for the Time Machine BackUp?
Yes, this is independent of the hard drive. However, you only get the hard drive here and no accessories. The hard disk cannot be operated on its own.
The thread position of large hard drives, such as this one, does not fit to the MacPro5.1's rack mount.
