Can I use the port not as WAN but as a LAN post? i.e. to connect devices and not the router, since router is connected to other Powerline adapter in the room?

What happened if the internet LAN is far (in another room) from the electrical box? Could I buy a devolo multirom (or a devolo extension) and connect the internet LAN there? Would this DINrail distribute the internet signal to the other rooms? I mean, devolo multirom only works if the rooms are in the same circuit (not my case), so I was thinking to buy this item to "extend" to the other rooms (I don't know the correct term), but I don't understand if this item can work as a "router" from one room to the other, since I won't be able to connect the LAN directly to this device but rather an devolo multiroom or extension?

And I mean by "multiroom" to something like this:

Yes, in my opinion you can do that since there is actually no specific WAN subnet. Since the devices connected to the "created magic network" will be located within the same subnet, you can also use the din rail unit as a client and define any other unit as the master connected to the router. Hope the answer will help you.
