Can I turn off the function that the Karma Grip charges my GoPro? I find the battery life quite short and I can replace the GoPro batteries. I don't want to have an even shorter runtime.

GoPro has confirmed that the feature cannot be turned off. However, we have passed on your input to them. However, it is not certain whether this feature could be added with an update to the firmware.

Apparently not... You can't adjust anything... neither on the camera nor on the grip itself...
But I could imagine that they will bring it out with an update.
