Question about HTC Vive Cosmos Elite

Can I recommend this headset over the Oculus Rift S? I often had problems with the Rift S, that it was not recognised at all, cable failure as well as sensor failure and had to send it in 2 times. That's why I'm thinking of switching to another manufacturer. Does anyone have any experience with the two headsets?

Yes it is certainly recommended. I haven't had any problems with these glasses yet. It does have one disadvantage: you have to set up sensors.
