In principle, yes, but the ventilation slots are on the back. So you have to make sure that the device doesn't lie completely flat or sink into something soft, like a blanket, and then the ventilation no longer works.
The speakers are really good for the size and the battery makes the device super mobile. I have a tripod screwed on and the keystone correction means I can also use it in bed or in the bathroom.
But a wall would be the best place.
