Question about Xiaomi MI TV Stick 4K

Can I install a VPN directly on the stick like on the Fire stick? As I understand it, I can download all apps from the Google Play Store? That includes Zattoo, Teleboy, Wilmaa, etc.? Thank you for your feedback.
