Question about Devolo Magic 2 WiFi next Starter Kit

Can I connect the Wifi adapter directly to the router and use the LAN adapter as an extension? As a rule, and according to the instructions, it is actually done the other way round. I need another LAN port and would like to use the Wifi adapter as a router base, as it has 2 LAN ports.
