Yes, that is possible. The USB soundbar is connected to a PC or laptop via USB in the normal way. The USB soundbar has no direct influence on which monitor you use. This only applies to Dell monitors, where the soundbar can be clipped on, which is not possible with your monitor (but this has no influence on the actual function).
