Can I connect the Denon DP-300F directly to my Sonos Connect (preamplifier is actually integrated) or do I also need an external preamplifier?

That is correct. You can connect this product directly to the Sonos Connect. The preamplifier is switchable, so it can be turned on or off depending on the amplifier or receiver connected.
