Question about Sonos Beam
can i connect the box directly to the w-lan router and listen to music?... or is this done via an additional device, e.g. mobile phone?... I just want to play music for the dogs when I am not at home, without tv or other additional devices....

Yes, the Sonos Beam can be used without any additional devices. To set it up once, you need a mobile phone and Wi-Fi. After that, you can press the button directly on the speaker and the last set music (e.g. radio etc.) will play again via Wi-Fi. Or you can select the desired music on the mobile phone, but then you can leave the house and take the mobile phone with you without interrupting the music.
