Can I connect my stereo speakers to this device? I'm not quite sure.

No, you cannot connect stereo speakers directly to the TechniSat Digitradio 143 V3 as the device does not have a built-in amplifier. It is a pure tuner and therefore cannot operate speakers without an external amplifier.
To use speakers, you must connect the Digitradio 143 V3 to an external amplifier or a soundbar with an integrated amplifier. An optical cable can be used for this to avoid unwanted noises such as ground loops.
