Can I connect an external 4TB USB hard drive and play the MP4 files on it via the player?

According to its own research, this unit supports the following formats via USB storage devices: MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV, FLAC, ALAC, DSDIFF and DSF. Thus, unfortunately, no MP4 files can be played, sorry.
Thank you Francesca. Decided on an Oppo 205. (2 USB 3.0 on the back + 1 in the front, plays everything). Great part, just got the last one in the official sale.
