Can I connect 4 graphics cards to one pci x1 slot on this part and have them run at full performance and if I have 3 pci x1 slots does that mean I can connect 12?
The bottleneck is the x1 slot. Depending on the application, you will not have full performance. If you have pure GPU computation work ok, but if you have a high data transfer on the lines, the x1 connection will slow you down.
Another question is whether your board can operate all three PCIe x1 slots at the same time. Maybe some of them are deactivated.
