Can I attach a 34" curved monitor and a 24" monitor to this mount at the same time? I don't understand the limitation of 27" (apart from the weight of course).

The length of the arms is designed for a maximum of 27". With a 34" screen, you won't be able to mount another monitor next to it in my estimation. The weight issue is clear. If the monitor is heavier, the arm can no longer hold it.
