Can I also use this keyboard for a 5th generation iPad, i.e. from 2017 with the type number A1822?

No! The matching keyboard for your iPad has the manufacturer number 920-009020 (different screen sizes!). You can enter the manufacturer number in the product search and digitec will show the correct Slim Folio.
