Can I also install the module at the lamp location without connecting it to a mechanical switch? I have a two-way switch with 2 switches, meaning there is no voltage at the module when it is switched off.

The module can also be installed without a mechanical switch. However, it is a prerequisite that the module is continuously supplied with voltage. If there is no voltage at the module in your existing two-way switch circuit when it is switched off, radio control is not possible in this state. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
