Question about Swisscom WLAN repeater
Can I also connect the repeater to the router (Internet box) with a LAN cable and thus expand the WLAN? And a PC on the 2nd LAN port, so that I have the GBit bandwidth on the PC?
I sent the device back again. All the mobile phones, receivers, Apple TVs and tablets only had problems because they didn't know which WLAN to use! I also tried using a LAN cable because my router is in USM metal furniture, so I get a stronger signal. Same problem and the signal was not stronger. Furthermore, the webcam and the Storm plug from Swisscom cannot connect to this repeater. There were also only problems. I have now bought a longer fibre optic cable and positioned the router differently. Now everything works perfectly again!
