Helpful answer
Yes, it works very well. But I have to say that I don't use Qobuz directly, because the internal Wiim app is extremely well done. one of the best I've seen so far.

Yes, you can use Qobuz directly from the Qobuz application, without going through the WiiM application.
There's nothing to stop you, except perhaps your desire for simplicity... or your taste for random bugs depending on the Android version.

Hi-Res (high-resolution audio) on the Qobuz app:
- If your device is Hi-Res compatible, the app will serve you Hi-Res, with all the nobility you can imagine... when Android decides to remain cooperative.
- The app offers high-resolution files, even when your phone is looking at the DAC as if to ask: "How do we do this again? "

When using WiiM (or another bridge):
- This is handy for sending sound to a decent audio system, without turning your phone into a nuclear reactor.
- WiiM isn't compulsory for Hi-Res, unless your device has poor USB or Bluetooth management... which, strangely enough, happens more often than we'd like to admit.

To sum up:
Yes, you can listen to Qobuz directly in the Qobuz app.
Yes, you can listen in Hi-Res, as long as your equipment doesn't decide to take a day off.
WiiM is especially useful for complex installations or equipment that thinks Hi-Res output is "too much to ask".

And now for the truth that even Qobuz doesn't shout from the rooftops:
the best choice is still Qobuz Connect.

And why is that?
Because with Qobuz Connect, you bypass the vagaries of Android, enjoy far greater stability, Hi-Res quality arrives intact at your player as if Qobuz were holding it by the hand to prevent it from stumbling. your player as if Qobuz were holding it by the hand to prevent it from stumbling, and above all, you avoid the days when you wonder why the right channel has once again decided to disappear.

In a nutshell:
The Qobuz app works.
WiiM works.
But Qobuz Connect is the royal road: clean, stable, direct, and with no surprises that make you want to turn off the router.

With the Qobuz app I can "only" use 24Bit 192kHz, with the Wiim app also 32Bit 192kHz. But both work well! :-)

Yes, both work perfectly.
