Question about ASUS Bw-16d1ht/G
Can anyone recommend a suitable cable for the pc connection? I can't install the drive, I connect it standalone

Do I understand correctly that you want to use the drive externally, so to speak?
If so, one option would be to use an adapter like this
Aplic USB 3.0 to SATA III converter
Alternatively, you could use the drive permanently externally with an enclosure like this (I did it myself with my drive)
Icy Box ICY BOX External Enclosure for 1x 5.25" SATA drive, IB-525-U3 (5.25")
There are of course cheaper options for both variants.
