Question about Segway-Ninebot GT3 D

Can anyone make a comparison of the mechanical brakes on the GT3 D and the hydraulic system on the GT3 Pro? Is the brake force development on the GT3 D also as linear? Is there really no Zero Start on the GT3 D? The app is the same as on the GT3 Pro. Has that been hidden here?

The braking force itself is roughly the same with both, but the braking effect is much more linear with hydraulic brakes. They can therefore be controlled much more "smoothly".

The Segway Ninebot GT3 D actually has disc brakes, which provide a smooth and reliable braking effect. In contrast, the GT3 Pro has a hydraulic braking system. The braking force development of the GT3 D is linear and effective, especially when travelling downhill for a long time, the brakes cool down quickly and show only minimal loss of braking force.

To your questions:
- Zero Start: Yes, the GT3 D has a zero start function that prevents the scooter from suddenly accelerating when you start riding.
- Cruise Control: The GT3 D also has a cruise control function that allows you to drive longer distances without constantly accelerating.
- DRL light (daytime running light): The DRL light is also available on the GT3 D and increases visibility in road traffic.

However, to fully utilise these functions such as speed, cruise control and DRL light, you must purchase the NBT (Ninebot Technology Package). Without this package, these functions are disabled.

The Segway Mobility App is similar for both models, but without NBT you cannot use certain functions. With the NBT package, you can take full advantage of the app and use functions such as navigation and further customisations for lighting
