Can a 31.50 inch monitor also be screwed on ?

You can mount a 31.50 inch monitor without any problems. However, you must check whether your monitor is compatible with the "100 x 100 mm, 75 x 75 mm" Vesa connection. If you have problems with this, please post your monitor model :)
