Body Cardio measures pulse wave velocity, a medically internationally recognised measurement. This is no longer true as of 24.01. The feature will be removed...

Has the feature actually been removed now? On the official Withings site, heart rate measurement is still indicated.

For the sake of completeness, you should also mention why you are removing it. This is more useful to the community than simply a note that reads like Nokia bashing. Removing the PWG measurement does not necessarily mean that the function will not be reactivated at a later date when the question of approval has been settled.

"After a routine review, we have concluded that this feature may require

a different type of regulatory approval. In light of this, we have decided to deactivate the pulse wave velocity measurement feature on 24 January."

It's an impertinence on Nokia's part. That was one of the reasons to buy the device. That would be like Apple removing the WiFi from the iPhone via an update. This was done without the owner's consent and without the possibility of intervention. Not even a message was sent via the app. Actually, for me this borders on fraud and deception. Well Nokia has learned nothing. The same arrogance was already

a problem with Handysparts unfortunately. I will not buy any more products from Nokia.
