Question about Devolo Magic 2 WiFi next Multiroom Kit

At home, I've separated the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz (because of a robot that only wants the 2.4 and doesn't detect it if I leave it paired with the 5). My question: I want to use one of the multiroom kit ports on the 2.4 (for this robot) and the other on the 5 (for the rest). Is this possible?

According to my research and the manufacturer's specifications: Yes, you can configure separate SSIDs for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz on the Devolo Magic 2 WiFi next - but not per port, but per WiFi band.
This means that one adapter transmits two WiFi networks simultaneously and you can give them different names (e.g. "Home-2G" and "Home-5G"). You then simply connect your robot to the 2.4 GHz network. You will end up with one Wi-Fi network but separate bands.

It seems that to use two different wifi networks in the same house, a multiroom kit won't work. You'd have to install two separate devolo kits that don't communicate with each other (one for each existing network). Can anyone confirm whether this really works or whether it's an open door to all sorts of interference between the two systems?
