Question about Samsung QE85Q950T

As you know, the TV is accessed via the Connect Box (QE85Q950T). Does it mean that HDMI 2.1 can be retrofitted? I ask because an 8K panel with an HDMI 2.0 interface is the same joke as the first 4K panels that did not have HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2 installed. If 8K image content is offered that goes beyond streaming, one would like to be able to display it natively if possible. But in order to interpolate a maximum of 4K content to 8K, you don't really need an 8K resolution.
