Are you sure that the information on the compatibility of the sockets is correct? It seems to me that it's not the gen 7 processor but the 7000 series.
The 7000 and 9000 series are commonly referred to as the 7th and 9th generations. Both use the AM5 socket, and are compatible with this motherboard.
