Hi, I think the fan speeds are fixed: Fast/Slow/Off: I use this part with RAID1 connected to my NAS as an ext. USB disc. I have set the fan speed to slow and so far this has worked perfectly and the case temperature is normally lukewarm. Regarding noise: Fast level is relatively loud, slow is well tolerable. greetings wca

Hello, I had problems with an ICY Box IB-RD3621U3 3.5" with my two WD Red HDD WD60EFAX with NASware 3.0. The disks were repeatedly unmounted and had to be reformatted. Regardless of whether I used single disks JBOD or Raid 0, the disks hung after hours of use. Replacing the box did not solve the problem. The discs have now been running in an LC Power docking station for 2 months without complaint.

A burnt child shies away from fire. Should I expect similar problems with this box as with the ICY box? What if problems recur? Can I return the box? How does this actually work?
