AMD Ryzen 9 processors of the new generation (7000) can automatically consume well over 200W depending on the cooling. Let's assume I have a cooling system with which I can get the maximum out of a 7900X/7950X. MY QUESTIONS: Does this board limit me in terms of power delivery? Is it possible that such a processor can deliver less performance on a "cheap" board like the TUF B650 compared to an X670 board (Crosshair/MPG ACE)? Or does this only apply to manual overclocking for professionals? Thanks

Helpful answer

The performance of cheaper mainboards is generally the same as that of more expensive boards. The better mainboards usually have higher-quality capacitors that can provide more stability during overclocking and additional features in the area of WiFi or connections (e.g. better WiFi modules or similar).
