Am a bit lost, looking for an external hard drive to back up photos, today on Windows laptop. What is the difference 3.5 or 2.5 inch? Recommendation?

This is the form factor of the hard drives, which means that 3.5 inch hard drives are larger than 2.5 inch. The small one is just more handy, but I would always back up my photos on at least 2 hard drives if they mean a lot to you.
