Gardena Sileno Minimo
250 m², Boundary wire
After 1.5 years of operation, the battery seems to have run out of steam. After about 35 minutes of mowing, the Minimo 250 simply stops and you have to carry it back to the charging station. The battery status is then displayed as 0%. Does anyone have any experience with battery replacement? Do it yourself (unfortunately there is no replacement battery at Galaxus) or send it in? Is this still covered by the warranty?
Knowing that this model of mower has a time limiter it would be a shame... The system prohibits prolonged use to ensure the mower has a long working life. So frankly if mine ends up in the same situation as yours, I'd be very annoyed if it's not covered by the two year warranty!
My Sileno is younger and the battery is ok. I would try a warranty claim. I have found Galaxus to be generous. I had a Bosch lawn robot before and they refunded my money because of another fault. Or order a new battery from the Gardena service department (address on the back of the instruction manual). The procedure for replacing the battery is described in the operating instructions. Or ask the Gardena service what they suggest for this problem. I hope that the sileno will mow your lawn again.
