According to the test, the app on the smartphone is required for fitness training. Does the Bluetooth connection have to be maintained? So of course swimming is off the table :(.
The vital data is also synchronised with the smartphone afterwards. This means that this data is also recorded during the swim. Only the GPS tracking cannot be recorded without a smartphone connection.
