According to the specification, it should go up to 85dB. However, on every device where we test it (with 2 different headphones) you can hardly hear anything. As soon as someone is talking in the same room, the music is barely audible. Is this really 85dB? or are the headphones possibly defective?

I can't tell you how many dB they are, but the headphones are not defective. My daughter has them too and says they are quite quiet (which I rather welcome, especially for children ^^).

Our three children also find the headphones very quiet and switch the electronic device to full volume. However, since they close very well around the ear, the headphones also work great when driving (despite us having the radio on) or other background noise.
