According to the programme "Speed Fan", which shows the temperature of individual components in the PC, the CPU gets 128 degrees hot (??). Is the programme worth nothing or is the CPU about to evaporate?

Helpful answer

Speed Fan reads the temperature data incorrectly depending on the motherboard. In addition, it cannot be that the CPU temperature gets so high, because the processor automatically starts to throttle the power at max 90° or so, in order not to exceed a specific temperature limit. So you should not worry. Otherwise, you can verify the temperature measurements with other programmes, e.g. "CPUID HWMonitor", or "Core Temp".
Hope this was helpful.
