Copenhagen Trackers Gemstone
Android, iOS
- How often is the location updated? - Am I right in assuming that the tracker also works in the forest, for example, where there is no mobile phone reception? - Does the tracker have to be set to a radio standard in advance or does this change automatically depending on availability?
- you can set the update via the app, there are various options for this
- GPS also works in the forest, but can of course sometimes have 'dead spots'. The mobile network is then more of a sore point.
- Gemstone has 4G standard, which means it has good network coverage. Unfortunately, the little one only had 2G, which is no longer in operation in Switzerland and is increasingly being switched off abroad.
I am very satisfied with the device and can therefore recommend it.
As standard, it sends one track per day. This means the battery lasts for 6 years. When the battery is empty, you can replace it and the tracker will continue to work. With a plan you can have it tracked more often, e.g. during your holidays. The tracker automatically searches for its connection in over 150 countries
