1. can the refrigerator be operated without a water connection (for water dispenser)? 2. can the opening of the doors be changed (left or right hinged)?

To point 1: Yes, the water is refilled manually in the door by means of an opening.

Point 2: I am not 100% sure but the corresponding holes and cutouts seem to exist.
