This 22 mm momentary button features a backlit RGB LED ring that can be controlled in various colors via an Arduino or other microcontroller. On the back, there are four gold contacts for the switch (normally open and normally closed) and four silver contacts, which are used once for the cathode and three times for the anode of the red, green, and blue LEDs. The illuminated RGB button already has the current limiting resistors integrated internally. This allows you to connect the LED lighting directly to your microcontroller without an additional resistor. The resistors for the lighting are designed for 5 V, but you can also operate them at 3.3 V.
