The SPM9747 uses SRXL2 for communication with receivers. SRXL2 is a serial communication protocol with a bidirectional data connection, where a single line can transmit all control data. Previous serial receivers from Spektrum were based on the Spektrum radio receiver protocol, which is not compatible with SRXL2.
