The 3M GTI heat shrink tubing is a thin-walled heat shrink tubing made from modified, radiation-curable polyolefin. It features excellent electrical, physical, and chemical properties and is suitable for a wide range of applications, particularly for electrical insulation and marking of connections. The heat shrink tubing is highly resistant to aging and remains very flexible over the long term. Its shrink ratio is two to one. It is RoHS compliant and can be used in a temperature range of -55 °C to +135 °C. All variants except for the transparent one are self-extinguishing.

The cold shrink insulation sleeve made of EPDM rubber consists of factory-prestretched tubes that contain a removable support spiral. Simply prepare the connection, position the tube, and pull out the support spiral. The cold shrink sleeves are tubular sleeves with open ends that feature a sealing mastic. Once the insulation tube is positioned over a connector, the support spiral can be pulled out from one end. This causes the ends of the tube to shrink, creating a waterproof seal. The size ranges of the core and tube, along with the sealing mastic at each end, ensure a wider range of applications without compromising the sealing and insulation provided by the EPDM rubber. The active deformation of the specially formulated material guarantees a permanent seal and insulation against the environment.

3M heat shrink tubing HSR-3000 is color-coded for quick and easy identification of wires. This split-resistant, halogen-free tubing is used as a shrinkable electrical insulation over cable splices or terminations. The tubing has a shrink ratio of 3:1, is mechanically tough, easily marked, and resistant to cold flow. It is ideal as a lightweight protective cover for cable harnesses, for marking and bundling wires, and for packaging components. It is temperature resistant from -55 to 135 °C and complies with RoHS 2011/65/EU.

The cold shrink insulation tubes 8420 and 8430 are EPDM tubes that feature a unique cold shrink connection system. The products are delivered pre-stretched on a removable support spiral, allowing for efficient and easy installation. When the support spiral is pulled out after positioning the tube, the tube shrinks and forms a waterproof seal. The active deformation of the specially formulated material ensures a permanent seal and insulation against the environment. Cold shrink insulation tubes of series 8420 and 8430 are particularly useful for electrical insulation in all solid dielectric (rubber or plastic) insulated wires and cable splices up to 1,000 V. They are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. They often provide good physical protection and shielding against environmental influences for communication lines and other non-electrical applications, including cable sheath repairs. The temperature range is from -40 °C to 90 °C. In applications where the product is continuously exposed to UV radiation, it should be wrapped with Super 33+ vinyl electrical tape or self-vulcanizing silicone rubber tape 70.

Heat shrink tubing HSR-3000 is a series of flexible, thin-walled RoHS-compliant shrink tubes made from cross-linked halogen-free polyolefin. HSR 3000 offers good insulation protection for various industrial applications. They are also suitable for cable marking and identification applications. HSR 3000 tubes have a shrink ratio of 3:1 and are available in the following colors: transparent, black, red, yellow, blue, white, green, gray, and green-yellow striped. HSR-3000 heat shrink tubes are color-coded for quick and easy identification of wires. This split-resistant, halogen-free tubing is used as shrinkable electrical insulation over cable splices or terminations. The tubes, with a 3:1 expansion ratio, are mechanically tough, easily markable, and resistant to cold flow. They are ideal as a lightweight protective cover for cable harnesses, for marking and bundling wires, and for packaging components. They are temperature resistant from -55 to 135 °C and comply with RoHS 2011/65/EU.
