3. Loctite 243
Compatibility should be checked before contact with styrene, acrylic, and polycarbonate-containing plastics. Loctite 243 threadlocker is a medium-strength, oil-resistant, torque-resistant universal threadlocker. It is particularly well-suited for less active surfaces, such as stainless steel, and prevents loosening due to vibration as well as leakage from threaded connections.

This instant adhesive is specially formulated to ensure a strong and durable bond between materials such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), PTFE and Santoprene. The kit contains both Polyolefin Adhesive 406 and Primer 770, which is used to improve adhesion at the bonding point. By applying the primer before bonding, the effectiveness of the adhesive is maximised, resulting in a reliable and stable bond. The adhesive is suitable for applications where fast curing is required and offers heat resistance of up to 120 degrees Celsius.
