Electric skateboard

Electric skateboards are electronically controlled skateboards. They usually have the shape of a longboard. You can also find classic cruiser and freestyle shapes. Most e-skateboards have four wheels. Some even off-road versions have only one wheel in the center of the board. They are thus intended to imitate snowboarding or surfing. The e-skateboard is steered by shifting weight, just like a conventional rollerboard. Acceleration and braking are done via remote control or app. In Switzerland, e-skateboards are only permitted on private property. Participation in road traffic is not permitted.
