In the benchmark, my two 2.5" HDDs in this USB 3.0 enclosure reach the same speed as directly connected via SATA III. UASP is active according to CrystalDiskInfo.
The write protection switch works and can be adjusted well with a suitable pointed object or not too short fingernails - not too light, and not too heavy.
The workmanship is quite good, nothing wobbles and the 15mm high hard drives fit perfectly into the case. Normally high hard drives and SSDs would have play at the top, these would have to be clamped with some foam, for example.
The hard drive sled with front and back is made of plastic and is pushed into the aluminum case, which only goes around the sides (top, bottom, left, right). I find it a shame that plastic is used, but it does not affect the functionality and cannot be felt or seen due to the silicone casing.
Hard drives used:
Seagate Barracuda 3TB ST3000LM024-2AN17R (sequential 124 MB/s Read, 121 MB/s Write)
Seagate Barracuda 4TB ST4000LM024-2AN17V (sequential 145 MB/s Read, 137 MB/s Write)
