Stops in the middle of the movie and no one knows why

Already had the same problems with the Sony UBP-X800. Picture just freezes. I assume that this happens when changing layers. When switching from BD to UHD, it loses all apps, which means re-subscribing to Netflix. Reports an incompatible USB all the time even though no USB plugged in. And what Sony offers as support, ne absolute cheek. Only the SACD format keeps me from banning Sony from my house.
